Hastelloy G30 alloy is one of the few grades of ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu alloy with chromium content more than 30%. Due to the compound action of components, Hastelloy G30 alloy has strong corrosion resistance in H2SO4 and HNO3 solutions. The excellent resistance to sensitization of the alloy makes it suitable for direct application after welding in metallurgical process.
Chemical composition: carbon C: ≤0.03; Silicon Si: ≤0.80; Mn: ≤1.50; P: ≤0.004; Sulfur S: ≤0.020; Nickel Ni: Residual; Chromium Cr: 28.5~31.5; Molybdenum Mo: 4.0~6.0; Tungsten W: 1.5~4.0; Iron Fe: 13.0~17.0; Cu: 1.0~2.4; Nb + Ta: 0.3 ~ 1.5; Cobalt CO: 5.0 or less;
Application: Mainly used in wet H3PO4 production and processing and HNO3 plus HF pickling equipment and components. The alloy has corrosion resistance and good machining performance and high strength, so it is also a structural steel for acid oil and gas Wells.
